Chinese EV Maker Neta's Chairman Warns Survival Not Guaranteed

In a stark warning to the electric vehicle (EV) industry, the chairman of Chinese EV maker Neta, Zhang Yong, has stated that the company's survival is not guaranteed amid increasing market pressures and geopolitical challenges.

During a recent industry conference, Zhang highlighted several critical issues facing Neta, including intensified competition, rising production costs, and the impact of international trade policies. "The EV market is evolving rapidly, and while we have made significant strides, the path ahead is fraught with uncertainties," Zhang said.

Neta, a subsidiary of Hozon Auto, has been expanding its footprint both domestically and internationally. However, the company faces stiff competition from other Chinese EV giants like BYD and NIO, as well as global players such as Tesla. Additionally, recent tariffs imposed by the European Union and the United States on Chinese EVs have further complicated the market landscape.

Despite these challenges, Zhang remains cautiously optimistic about Neta's future. "We are committed to innovation and quality, but we must also be realistic about the hurdles we face. Our survival is not guaranteed, but we will continue to strive for excellence and adaptability in this dynamic industry," he concluded.

Neta's warning serves as a reminder of the volatile nature of the EV market and the need for companies to remain agile and resilient in the face of adversity.
